ACCOUNTANT

Job Responsibilities:

Full set of accounts
Management reporting
Ensure compliance of processes and transactions to recommend accounting procedures and principals
Check and review accounting data, identify and compute accruals
Prepare and submit financial statements and other special financial reports, in a timely and accurate manner
Preparation of annual operating plans and monthly rolling forecast

Job Requirements:

Qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably with supervisory experience
At least 2 years of experience in using MYOB software
Accounting experience in financial institutions / MAS reporting knowledge is an added advantage, but not necessary
Driven and motivated individual, who can work and learn independently
Good communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to present complex accounting and business issues clearly and concisely to senior management
Strong organizational, time management and task prioritization skills
Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy on work output
